Tuesdays on the Run

Tuesdays on the Run – Gift Guide

-titlepage

For this week’s fun running post, I’m linking up with Patty of My No-Guilt Life, Marcia of Marcia’s Healthy Slice, and Erika of MCM Mama Runs for their Tuesday’s on the Run. This week’s link up will focus on a Runner’s Gift List. These are all items that are on MY wish list (and you could add to yours!) 🙂

Tuesdays (1)

“The Runners Brain” by Dr. Jeff Brown
I think this is going to be a necessary read for me getting ready for my first marathon next year! I am not sure what the future will hold, but getting my mental game in check is the first step to a successful run! Maybe an early gift so I can review it next month 🙂

“Meals on the Run”  by Runner’s World
This would be a great addition to my recipe book collection!…In hopes that I would use it more than the ones with dust on them!

BitterSweet, Flower Design Hair Tie Bracelet
I always have any number of hair ties on my wrist – this is a beautiful accessory to make those lame hair ties look like a fashionable accessory!

Stride Box gift subscription
As a StrideBox member, each month you’ll receive a box of 5-7 performance products; ranging from performance apparel, to nutrition products, and other accessories for runners and other endurance athletes.

OR – go by your local running store and create your own, personal DIY box of running goodies with gels, gift cards, head band, hats, socks, protein, snacks, and gum!

Nuun Active Hydration
I could always use more Nuun 🙂

Noxgear Vest
I need something reflective or lit up for me to run in the nighttime hours! This is a great one!

Brooks Adrenaline 15, 2EE width, size 10 (women’s) or 9 (men’s) – any colors 🙂
http://www.brooks.com or http://www.zappos.com
I could always use new shoes, and with the new 16s not fitting as well as the 15s, it is time to stock up a little!

Sabre Personal Alarm I already have pepper spray that I run with, but this would be just another safety product to consider having!

Momentum Jewelry
These wraps, necklaces, headbands, earrings, and shoe pendants are the perfect motivational and inspiring pieces of jewelry anyone could use for that extra pump of positive energy!

Sparkly Soul  Headbands Who wouldn’t want to sparkle a little more on a run?! Those flyaway hairs are no problem for this essential piece of headgear 🙂

Gift Certificates
What could any runner love more that gift certificates?! Manicures, pedicures, massages, running clothes, running shoes, food shops, race registrations, compression socks – the ideas are unlimited!!

What is on your holiday gift list?

Did I mention anything that you forgot to put on your list?

I love hearing from you! Please and thanks for taking the time to comment.

  1. The Runner’s Brain sounds really interesting! I just ran my first full in October, and those last 6-10 miles are totally all mental! Your body can handle it, but it’s just getting the brain to follow suit!

  2. Ah ha! I’ve seen those Momentum Jewelry bracelets a lot on Instagram but didn’t know where people were getting them – thanks!

This year I’m giving my running friends my book! “Confessions of an Unlikely Runner (A Guide to Racing and Obstacle Courses for the Averagely Fit and Halfway Dedicated)”

It’s available in print and for Kindle on amazon.com 🙂
