Weekly Workouts

Monday- After a long day, I needed to just get out for a quite run. If it weren’t for my tight chest and allergies kicking in, I might have gone a little longer… 1 mile

Tuesday- A nice hilly, morning run in the books – 4.65 miles

Wednesday- Well, this morning didn’t go as planned. I wanted to run a few miles before work, but time got away from me and I settled for 1 mile.

Thursday- Due to not getting in a morning run and needing to get my car from the dealership and just barely making it to the gym, I was able to get in at least my mile for the day! – 1.5 miles

Friday- A last minute mile walk to end the day

Saturday- Hospital Hill Half Marathon

Sunday- Little man and I went for a nice walk before it got too hot 🙂

Weekly Miles : 26 miles

781 / 2,016 miles in 2016

This Week’s Projected Workouts

Well. Another feeling of “now what” has overcome me… I am done pacing half marathons this spring! I survived! My next pacing adventure is in CO in August…

My next “training plan” schedule starts in a couple weeks. While I am not “training” for any races this fall, I am set to pace 3 races, with the possibility of at least 1 more… I just want to have a plan to follow over the summer to keep my fitness and legs 🙂 Also, I am running 2,016 miles in 2016 – and I have a little catching up to do!

  1. Congratulations on pacing the spring half marathons. I know it must be a rewarding feeling to help others to the finish. You should enjoy a well deserved break. Which race will you pace in CO? Thanks for linking with us Lindsey!

    1. Thanks! I still get super nervous about pacing – but since you pace 15-30+ minutes from your PR, the pace is usually quite manageable. I am able to run, check my Garmin like a crazy person, and motivate my runners through the whole distance 😀
