Weekly Workouts
Monday- After a long day, I needed to just get out for a quite run. If it weren’t for my tight chest and allergies kicking in, I might have gone a little longer… 1 mile
Tuesday- A nice hilly, morning run in the books – 4.65 miles
Wednesday- Well, this morning didn’t go as planned. I wanted to run a few miles before work, but time got away from me and I settled for 1 mile.
Thursday- Due to not getting in a morning run and needing to get my car from the dealership and just barely making it to the gym, I was able to get in at least my mile for the day! – 1.5 miles
Friday- A last minute mile walk to end the day
Saturday- Hospital Hill Half Marathon
Sunday- Little man and I went for a nice walk before it got too hot 🙂
Weekly Miles : 26 miles
781 / 2,016 miles in 2016
This Week’s Projected Workouts
Well. Another feeling of “now what” has overcome me… I am done pacing half marathons this spring! I survived! My next pacing adventure is in CO in August…
My next “training plan” schedule starts in a couple weeks. While I am not “training” for any races this fall, I am set to pace 3 races, with the possibility of at least 1 more… I just want to have a plan to follow over the summer to keep my fitness and legs 🙂 Also, I am running 2,016 miles in 2016 – and I have a little catching up to do!
Check out some awesome #linkups this week!
As always, there is the great Weekly Wrap link-up with Holly and Tricia! I found a new Monday linkup called #MotivateMe Monday, hosted by Lucie, Janice, and Rachel! Also, check out Ilka and Angela’s Sunday Fitness & Food link up!
Check out the Tuesday’s on the Run gang as well: Patty, Erika, & Marcia! I am also linking up with Annmarie, Jen, Nicole, and Michelle for Wild Workout Wednesday 🙂 Check out the new Coaches Corner linkup with Suz, Rachel, Debbie, and Lora.
How did your training week go? What are you training for?
I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment and start a conversation!
Congratulations on pacing the spring half marathons. I know it must be a rewarding feeling to help others to the finish. You should enjoy a well deserved break. Which race will you pace in CO? Thanks for linking with us Lindsey!

Very cool pictures. I sure do like those sunrise ones! What is is like in August there for your race? It is still blazing hot, in fact we usually don’t get a break until October!

The August race will be in CO and I am not completely sure of the regular conditions…their website says that it averages a 50+ degree start and 70 degree finish. We shall see… 😆

Thanks! I still get super nervous about pacing – but since you pace 15-30+ minutes from your PR, the pace is usually quite manageable. I am able to run, check my Garmin like a crazy person, and motivate my runners through the whole distance 😀

Thanks for joining us! You got in some good miles this week 🙂 I think it is great that even though you were short on time the one morning, you still squeezed in a mile. I need to do that more often, instead of just skipping the workout entirely!!

I need to more than I do 😆 A mile seems like so little, but at least it is something!!
