What a week!! The mornings were fairly mild…the afternoons have been warm!! I ran more miles that I had in the plan, but most of them were easy paced, fun miles 🙂 I am ready for spring!!
Weekly Workouts
Monday- Morning miles with Angie – we planned out the rest of the week and which days we are going to run together (which changed…and will never be perfect, ha!)! Productive start to the week!
Tuesday- Since I didn’t get out of bed feeling well, I just slept longer and then just dilly-dallied around the house… I decided to head out over lunch…my interval workout wasn’t the best decision for the route that I choose. Intervals + trails = no good. Oh well. Live and learn!!
Wednesday- I started the day on the treadmill – making up my FULL interval workout from yesterday! Yeah, there isn’t a NEED for me to “make up” the workout, but I wanted to give it the time and effort it deserved! Then, since the weather is being amazing these days (and the coming weeks if Weather.com is correct), I hit the trail for an easy runch 🙂
Thursday- Morning run with Angie – afternoon trail run 🙂 My happy place!
Friday- This weather is amazing…I am not sure if my legs can handle the miles that I am putting them through! I love the wind in my hair and the pavement/gravel under my feet. Angie and I met up this morning – and then I was able to take a lunch for run/walk #2 for the day 🙂
Happy trails to you!
Saturday- Morning miles are the only way I can get them in on the weekend! Starting the day with a long run!
Sunday- Happy trails to you!! (and me!!)
Weekly Miles : 62 miles
356 / 2,017 miles in 2017
Next Week’s Projected Workouts
Next week is going to be full of GREAT weather…and end with more typical February temps. (whomp whomp)
I will be at the gym for those good ‘ol intervals and taking it easy on the trails 🙂
Want a curve ball? I will be donating blood on Tuesday…so we’ll see how my running/walking responds to the change in blood volume…

It looks like you did have a pretty good week of workouts! But I am also excited for the super nice weather this coming week. I hope your blood donation goes well tomorrow! My runs this past week felt amazing, even though I am not training for anything as of yet.

We are having unseasonably warm weather here too and I’ve found myself doing 2-a-days just to get out and enjoy it!

Ha it’s becoming the norm to see one day all bundled up and then the next out in shorts isn’t it. Hey I’m not complaining right now that is. Ask me in 3 months when it’ll only be June!

Yeah!! I’m not complaining…the mixed bag of temps keeps it interesting before the death heat comes to stay…

I’m very impressed with all of those miles this week! I nice whether brings everyone outdoors, but 50 cars? That’s a huge difference. Thanks for linking, Lindsey!

Yes! It was crazy! The ONLY time you’ll see anywhere near that many cars is when there is a running event on the trails – and that event allows 300 runners…
