Weekly Workout

winter 26.2 training w10 | Weekly Workouts

Other than Mother Nature not knowing which way is up, the cooler temps didn’t hold back the miles much!

Weekly Workouts

Monday- Morning winds gave way to…afternoon winds!! Oh well, a battle with Mother Nature always mixes things up 😂

Tuesday- A nice morning run to start the day!

Wednesday- A nice afternoon trail run – also made up for a missed workout!

Thursday- Morning run with Angie – easy run with strides built into our route. Since the weather is nice, I headed out for a lunch run as well!

Friday- Since the weekend weather wasn’t shaping up well, I decided to get in as much of a long run as I could!

Due to not feeling well most of the day at work, I went to the doctor…tested positive for Influenza B. Yuck! While I was gross feeling Friday, that was the only day! Doc said I could run as long as I felt up to it 😉😉

Saturday- Since my major miles were done, I wasn’t stressed to get out the door as early… Instead, I decided to run the 2nd loop of the group run and that was all! 6 quick miles!

Sunday- While the cold was nipping at us, we pushed through for 8 miles for Angie and 10 miles for me!

Weekly Miles : 56 miles

Next Week’s Projected Workouts

Well, due to my Influenza-B diagnosis on Friday, I am not allowed to come back until Wednesday (as long as I am feeling well)… Since I haven’t felt badly all weekend, I am planning a long trail run Monday 😆😆 I can’t be working, you will find me running!!

  1. I am jealous of your shorts weather, Lindsey!!! Spring is crazy around these parts, too. One day it’s almost 50ºF and the next it’s a blizzard at -10ºF… Just make up your mind already 🙂

I hope you get plenty of rest and heal up. I had influenza a month or so ago and it took everything out of me. What a winter for being sick!

    1. No joke, this weather is a mess! The only day I felt badly was Friday…otherwise, I didn’t even know I was sick. It feels like mine was a 24-hour thing…oh well. I haven’t been “sick” in a long time…bound to happen sometime!

  2. It was crazy winder all the way here in Niagara too on Monday! Running that day would have been impossible, and quite unsafe since there were plenty of downed trees blocking streets. I noticed too that you were running in shorts, and us northerners are definitely envious. As I’m typing this, we are expecting our biggest winter storm this winter, we are expecting about 1 foot of snow before I wake up tomorrow. 😦 I wish you a quick recovery!

    1. Our weather has been a mess lately…70s one day, tornado warnings the next, 30s as the high the next, and then snow! Looking back, I guess that is just the craziness of spring! Stay safe and warm through the storm!
