Back in November 2016, I paced a freezing COLD half marathon. This day, I was introduced to Turtle Gloves through a pacer-friend at the Longview Lake Half Marathon. She told me all the reasons I needed them and showed me how they worked; I was hooked before owning my first pair! You better believe I put Turtle Gloves on my Christmas list and got my first pair that year! I haven’t looked back since!

As I mentioned before, a friend of mine introduced me to Turtle Gloves a few years ago — about a year after I started running. From one pair my first year, to 6+ pairs today, I have lived in and loved the Turtle Gloves brand!

The Midweight WINTER SOFT Turtle Glove is one of my favorites (since I own several different weights) because it is truly the softest glove you will own for running! The Winterweight TURTLe-FLIP^® is made with Polartec^®Power Stretch Pro^® a material that is :

• moisture wicking
• breathable
• fast-drying
• super soft (inside and out)
• stretchy — 93% polyester / 7% spandex
• machine washable

You can wear this glove in all conditions, but I would most recommend 5-10 degrees below freezing to well into the 40-50 degree range.

You can also weather the gloves on either hand – depending on which way you want to fold the mitten over when you want your fingers out. I typically wear my Turtle Gloves with the 2-layers to the outside (flipping to the inside of my hand) for a better wind block when closed – but wear them your own way!

I suffer with Raynaud’s Syndrome throughout the year (yea, even in the typically warmer months) and these gloves have been a major game changer!
