With all the miles I run, finding useful recovery tools is very important!

I am not great about sitting around and soaking my feet when I would rather be moving around…and foam rollers don’t always help get the kinks out of my feet.

A couple years ago, I purchased my first pair of OOFOS OOriginal Sandals, I wear them all the time, and my feet seem to be pretty happy about that decision!

I received my OOFOS OOmg shoes and I was glad to be able to see INTO the packaging! With all shoes, I am always nervous if the shoe will fit the width of my foot. At first look, the mesh upper appealed to me due to how flexible it is!

Once I put them on the first time, I knew these shoes were going to be a ~~lifesaver~~ foot-saver and keep my feet happy!

OOFOS OOfoam

The highlight of OOFOS shoes is the patented OOfoam technology – a closed cell foam sole that is made to absorb 37% more shock than other sole materials. This allows the shoe to better disperse the impact of your steps and aide in the recovery process!

The shoes are not only lightweight, but they are also machine washable! I have not needed to wash mine yet, but this is a great feature!

I have been wearing my OOFOS OOmg shoes for the past couple weeks and my feet haven’t felt better! The plush OOfoam cradles and massages my feet as I walk – and takes the stress out of my feet almost instantly!

I have been wearing them after my morning runs, to and from the gym, all day at work, the evening walking around the house, evening walks with little man, and through the weekend running errands.

Last weekend, I started Saturday with a long run and then little man and I volunteered at the Girl On The Run of the Flint Hills 5K as course monitors.

I changed out my running shoes for my OOmg and my feet felt great all day. We walked to and from the the car to the stadium, stood around on the concrete for over an hour, rang our cowbells loudly, danced around some, and then walked all of our gear back to the stadium.

While my patience was a little stretched from a cranky little man…my legs and feet were feeling great despite the walking and standing around on concrete through the race.

After that busy morning, I spent the afternoon driving 2 hours to Nebraska and then 2-3 hours walking around the Lincoln Marathon runners expo and standing around at the pacer’s booth. My energy was definitely low at the end of the day, but my legs and feet were still feeling fresh and ready to run the following morning!

At the end of the day, I turn to my OOFOS OOmg shoes for major comfort, a little fashion, and major versatility. When there are days that I don’t wear my OOmg shoes to work, I often will come home and change into them just to walk around the house. These shoes massage out all the stress in my body, especially my feet, and I am less likely to bother my hubs for a foot massage…ha!
