This year has been full of twists and turns in all of our lives living through a pandemic — but I have also had some personal battles. Not only have these battles influenced my motivation to stay active, but living through a pandemic has modified my fall race plans as well.
My experiences running Hospital Hill events have changed greatly through the years! From being my first postpartum event in 2014 (not the greatest experience), to a redemption race weekend in 2015 (amazing weekend of running), my first HHR half marathon as a pacer, and now my 4th year running as a BibRave Pro! Check it out!

What will 2020 bring?! Who knows…but I’ll be sure to train for those rolling KC hills! Bring on June and the @HospitalHillRun Half Marathon.

I have been so excited to see that Hot Chocolate came to my area this year so I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t upset that I needed to drop my distance. I was really looking forward to seeing how a 15K event felt on my legs… Maybe next year! Let’s see how this year’s event went!
It’s Hot Chocolate 15K/5K Kansas City race week and I have been a bit AWOL lately… Check it out!
With this being my 4th KCM event and 3rd as a BibRave Pro, I mildly knew how the overall event would go. As my first postpartum event, I wasn’t sure how the day would play out. Check out my experience!
