Let me be honest. When I get home from a run…I KNOWWWW I should be eating or drinking something to help with my muscle recovery but it just doesn’t happen all that often. Yes, it is pure laziness and I just don’t have the energy to make anything… When the opportunity came up to try a workout recovery drink, my interest was peaked. I opted in to test the Science In Sport Rapid Recovery sport recovery supplement and hoped having a “quick” option for nutrition after my harder workouts would benefit my recovery.
Snacks are life. For real.
I am a snacker through and through – and whole food options are the BEST for my body and mind. Through the high mileage training this summer, I am trying to be more aware of what I am eating and checking labels can get a little overwhelming. So products with a small amount of ingredients is amazing!

Lazy weekends are always welcome…no traveling means that we can enjoy time at home and in our “little college town”. Morning runs are a must on the weekend…and I took full advantage! Check out what we were up to this weekend!
An easy going day to start the week off right – starting with a run and good eats all day! Since I was out of town all weekend, the fridge was not prepped for the week and I was left scrambling for whatever I could in the morning! Oh well, a quick trip to the store in the evening should fix that for the week!
