Just another typical day from this past week!
[workout] One of the few days this week that I was able to get out and run…I ran right for the gym! A semi-complicated interval workout in the books! 15min WU + 1K threshold, 90sec rest x3 + 3min rest + 1K threshold, 90sec rest x3 + cool down

Morning prepping is NECESSARY for me to get in my nutrition… I mixed up my Energize, Hydrate, and Recover before heading out the door!
[morning snack] 1/2 cherry pie Lara bar + 1/2 lime Lara bar
Since I didn’t get in quite as many miles last Saturday, I didn’t even touch my fuel during my long, wet Wicked Half Marathon. Plus, there were mini Lara bars at the 1/2 way point turnaround – so I grabbed a couple and didn’t need to eat my own!
[lunch] spiralized summer squash + venison sausage tomato sauce
Delish!! I made the venison with diced tomatoes and tomato sauce on Sunday…and it is my lunch for the week! I REALLY love this meal and could eat it all the time, no issues!
[afternoon snack] almond butter Perfect Bar
Sad day…I ate my last almond butter Perfect Bar! With funds tight, I will not be able to buy more for a while…and I really savored this one – even had a small photo opp with this perfect snack! #itsperfect

Since little man wanted a pear with dinner, I was the one to eat the second half.
