As a runner, I don’t always LOVE wearing my wedding jewelry when working out. To be honest, there’s something about wearing valuables makes me a target for someone with ill intentions. But wearing nothing on my hands feels odd…
I have worn a silicone band on my wedding ring finger in the past, but due to weight loss, it no longer fits and I haven’t cared to replace it.
When I was given the opportunity to try the Karma™ ring Duo, I got excited! Not only did I get one ring, but there are a few interchangeable colors to make it my own. I am a fan of bright colors, but I chose the mild pink tones of the Pearl White set.
kar·ma (noun) : a characteristic emanation, aura, or spirit that infuses or vitalizes someone or something
Karma™ ring is a soft, comfortable silicone ring offered in a single band or the Duo set (1 base color and 3 core colors). Both options are made of a non-porous, non-conductive, ultra durable, hypoallergenic silicone – great for sensitive skin and doesn’t absorb germs, odors, or chemicals.
While I use my Karma™ ring as a placeholder for my wedding band, this is not the only way to wear them! The team at Karma™ wanted to make a ring that gives you the encouragement you need based on where you wear the band on your hands.
Did you know that your fingers and hands hold symbolism related to creativity, independence, focus, awareness, power, and so much more?? With your Karma™ ring placed on a specific hand and finger, you can use it’s prescience as a symbol of your goals and ambitions.
So…my Karma™ ring is on the ring finger of my left hand. Based on the information Karma™ provides, here is the symbolism of this ring placement :
Left Hand – The right hemisphere of the brain is associated with creativity and controls the left hand. Therefore, rings worn on the left hand symbolize a focus on mindset, creativity, and personal philosophy.
Ring Finger (Emotion, Creativity, and Heart) – The ring finger connects to the artery that runs directly to our heart. It symbolizes feelings of affection and love. It is also characteristic of one’s creativity and artistic self.
In conjunction, an option for the Duo ring set is to start with a goal in mind and the lightest color in the set. As you get closer to accomplishing your goal, you change the bands to the darker colors. This is just another way for the Karma™ rings to encourage you to meet your goals!
Overall
As I mentioned before, I wear my Karma™ ring in place of my wedding band – but I really love the concept of wearing it on different fingers for different symbolism. I would probably wear an additional ring on my thumb (will power) or index finger (authority and ambition) in my upcoming 100 miler to give me the power to push through the difficult times!

Yeah! I just use them as a wedding band sub, but I like the variability!

I love the mentality behind these rings. I always wonder if I’d like the silicone rings or if I would rather just take all my rings off when I workout.

Very! I have been wearing the “extra colors” on other fingers without the main ring too 😉

Ah, these are pretty cool. My wedding band it pretty scratched up from life and lifting. I was thinking of doing something like this. Maybe for a gift!
