Due to the Grow Your Blog, Hop! with Kristy from Runaway Bridal Planner, I pushed my WIAW to What I Actually Ate on Wednesday! Wednesday is my spotlight day for the hop, so I am posting my WIAW post a day late – or is it really?! Oh well! Also, I am participating in the 21 Day Busy RunningMom Reset – and today is day 2 of the “sugar detox”. Basically, I am trying to steer clear of “processed sugars”…which can sometimes be a difficult task for me.
[morning workout] 62 minute – 5.71 mile interval run – #crazylegs5K2016
[drinks for the day] water 32oz x 3, hot lemon water
[breakfast] protein drink + banana
I was in a rush to get out the door after my morning run and I just grabbed some carbs and protein as I ran back out the door!
[morning snack] English muffin + avocado + apple
I have a couple avocados on the counter that are about on their way out…I need to eat them up fast!
[lunch] cheesy ham rice bake + green beans
I will be eating my brown/white rice mistake for the rest of the week…
[afternoon snack] greek yogurt + apple + hemp hearts
My go-to snack 🙂
[afternoon run] 3.3 stroller miles – 45 minutes
So, today was an amazing day for an afternoon run! On the RunTheYear2016 Facebook page, a family lost their house and entire furry family in a house fire on Superbowl Sunday. This is heartbreaking! There was a post to dedicate our miles for the day for this family…so I set out on a second run for the day with my little man.
