This week was a good week of running! A good mix of weather conditions makes for a complicated schedule to run through…but I am always up for a challenge! I am still trying to get my scheduled runs in the morning…but an afternoon run is always welcome!!

Weekly Workouts

Monday- An easy lunch run 🙂

Tuesday- I set out in the morning to do my scheduled interval run…but then I started my watch without actually setting my workout – whoops! I did push the pace from time to time, but it wasn’t a true interval run. Oh well…

In the afternoon, the trails were calling my name! I haven’t gone down on the lower trail for a bit…so this is where I set out to go! An easy out and back 🙂

Wednesday- With the chill coming back, I didn’t really feel like getting outside – also, the treadmill keeps me at a low, easy pace… The last mile was a walk with a 10 incline! WHOA!! After this, the 4-5 felt flat and the 1-2 felt like I was walking downhill… Well, I think I need to do that more often!

Another day. Another run. ✔

Thursday- What is this cold weather that is sticking around?! I am not enjoying it… Oh well, a lazy morning of sleeping in kept me from battling the chill first thing – but the idea of an early lunch run was the plan 🙂 Well, plans don’t always go as planned. I didn’t get in my run and needed to get in my mile before picking up little man at daycare… Get it in while you can I guess!

Friday- Due to being out of the office today, I needed to be sure that I got my run in BEFORE work. No runch today!

Saturday- A beautiful sunrise to match my run this morning! 6 easy – 3 harder – 3 easy

Sunday- Since my running buddy missed her Saturday morning run, I went out with her Sunday morning before church! She finally signed up for her first half marathon – the local Bill Snyder Highway Half. She does not have a specific training plan, but with 25-30 miles a week, she is in a good place with time on her legs! We went out thinking we would run at least 8, and made it home with over 10 🙂

Next Week’s Projected Workouts

This coming week has a half marathon built into the training plan…which I do not have planned for another couple weeks! Oh well… This week is going to be back on the cooler side, but I will probably still be able to get out a few days!

In other more recent news – I signed up for yet another fall race!! I will be running the Rock N Roll Marathon Series race in St. Louis on October 15th. I ran this race last year as well and I am excited to go back! Will you be running with me?? If you are thinking about it, you can use the promo code “BIBRAVE15” for $15 off your registration!

    1. I really like it! Set up the different views to the info you want to see – my “pacer” screen has distance, pace, lap pace, and elapsed time to keep the best track of everything! Check out the training plans on the connect website, they are easy to read and you can send the workouts to the watch and it will tell you when to run and when to rest 😀😀
