Thinking Out Loud

eating + running | Thinking Out Loud

Wow,… Thursday…we meet again!…There is a little to talk about with Amanda and her Thinking Out Loud Thursday’s 🙂

Thinking-Out-Loud

But first…

Coffee 🙂

eating. all. day.

My eating habits have been a little funny lately…

If you read my WIAW post, I didn’t have to worry too much about what I was planning to eat because I could just head to the freezer and warm up a meal…

…but what about intermittent fasting?

Lately, since I have not been taking into account my intermittent fasting times, I find myself wanting to eat all day long…

It might have something to do with the miles I am running (darn marathon training!!)…because I have been running these miles for a while now!

The major correlation I have found is that if I can hold off my first meal until 10-10:30 am, I am less likely to be snacking constantly for the rest of the day.

Mentally, I draw on the strength of not getting into food first thing in the morning and I feel like I can then be strong when the boredom urge comes to snack. Strong morning = Strong day.

this weather is bananas

Mornings are a little difficult to get out – in the 30s. Afternoons are amazing in the 50-60-70s!! I do not want to push my scheduled workouts to the afternoon JUST because of the better weather…but I am over the cold…

speaking of cold

Just when I get used to a warmer temp, Mother Nature throws a curve ball or two… Beautiful temps to start the week…long runs this weekend will be in the 20s… NOOOO!!!

well…

I  guess I am not thinking about too much this week…

Have a great Thursday!!
