It’s race week – er…WAS race week last week! You’ll have to check out some of my social media to see how the weekend went and a follow up post on the race itself…
weekly workouts : week 20 (sept 3)
Monday
Scheduled : 7 miles
Actual : OFF
After tapering SOOOO hard, there isn’t any way I was going to put 7 miles in today and tomorrow…just being truthful! I worked in the yard quite a bit the past two days and the crazy amount of rain we got last night kept us in today…
Tuesday
Scheduled : 7 miles
Actual : 1 mile walk
I spent a short lunch walking to WallyWorld to pick up my deet-free bug sprays and pre-treatment for this weekend. After work, I planned a short run with the pup to start her training for the Scooby Doo Virtual Races (use code BIBRAVE to save 10%). But the rain beat us back and I didn’t feel like listening to the pup shaking water out of her ears for the next week…maybe tomorrow!
Wednesday
Scheduled : 4 miles
Actual : 1 mile
I totally woke up this morning with intention to get out and run a couple miles…but wasted time until I didn’t have much to spare. So I took little Pai out for a mile before the rain started again.
Thursday
Scheduled : 3 miles
Actual : 4 miles
My usual errand run later in the week was a mere mile more than “scheduled”…so I didn’t think too much about it. The 70 degrees was going to be a welcome sight, but my long sleeves were soaked from the humidity within minutes…whoops! The weather is starting to change…and I am excited for it!!
Friday
Scheduled : 2 miles
Actual : OFF
Saturday
Scheduled : Hawk 100
Actual : first 2+ loops of the Hawk 100

Sunday
Scheduled : still running…
Actual : second 1/2 of the Hawk 100 (more to come on this adventure, clearly!!)

Weekly Miles : 106 miles
100m Training Miles : 1145 miles
Annual Miles : 1794 miles (goal = 2,018 in 2018)

I just can’t imagine being on my feet for that long! Not to mention the technicality of the trails while running in the dark. Those are great pictures and I can’t wait to hear the details. Very impressive, my friend. Very.dang.impressive. Thanks for linking!
