Stunt Puppy Go Dog Glo Harness | Review

Since day one, our now six-year old dog Paisley has been a puller when leashed. No matter the training or harness/collar/leash set up, pulling me along is her prerogative…

Back in December 2018, I had the opportunity to attend The Running Event (TRE) with a team of BibRave Pros in the first TRE Influencer Program. Stunt Puppy happened to be in attendance showcasing their products — including the Go Dog Glo Harness. I made a comment to the gentleman at the booth that I hoped we (as a BibRave Pro) would have the opportunity to try out the harness — and now that time has come!

Yes, I am a willing and ready participant to try any and all training or harness/collar/leash set-up to bring down the amount of pulling my dog puts on my body. You bet I put my name in the hat to try the Go Dog Glo Harness!

Stunt Puppy | Go Dog Glo Harness

The Go Dog Glo Harness by Stunt Puppy is a unique combination of breastplate and martingale-style leash attachment to provide a secure and stable hold of your pup. For me, this means no more weaving the leash in and out of Miss Paisley’s legs to keep better control of her…

In addition, the “glo” in the Go Dog Glo title stands for the reflective elements built into the fabrics — great for any day or night activities. I haven’t been able to witness the reflective elements on a run or walk, but I’m sure they will be great!

My Experience

As I mentioned, our Paisley is an eager runner — AKA, she would love me to be on roller blades so we can go as fast as she would like us to…

For me, the constant pulling really stinks. In fact, during the last 4 mile walk I went on the morning before giving birth to our newest little guy, Miss Paisley was taken home after just 1 mile because there were too many rabbits…and I didn’t enjoy the jerking and pulling.

I was totally hesitant to take the new babe AND the dog for a walk together but we ALL needed to get out for a walk…

Once I got Miss Paisley calmed down enough to get her new Stunt Puppy Go Dog Glo Harness (made easy once I got the straps fitted the night before), I noticed immediately she wasn’t pulling as much or at least as hard.

Once we made it to the end of the block, I could either complete our walk or head home…and we made our usual 1-mile loop successfully!

We have gone on several daytime walks and one run/walk interval workout with the Go Dog Glo Harness with similar lack-of-pulling successes. I am excited to see how well she does in the coming weeks as my run/walk intervals continue to ramp up!

My fellow BibRave Pro’s also went through various features on their blog posts as well. Be sure to check them out!
