Well, I was not ready for the weekend to be over…and Well, I was not ready for the weekend to be over…and I didn’t do any prepping over my lazy weekend! I knew that I had a bunch of quick and easy grab-and-go meals or snacks around the house… So that is what I went with!
[morning drink] kombucha – Morning Light Kombucha, Cranberry Lemon
I am about to jump on the “make your own kombucha” train…this stuff is too good and while the brew I purchase locally is great and not too pricey ($10 for a refill of 64oz), I cannot wait to see them at the Farmers Market every 2 weeks! I go through it too quickly! I think I know what to ask the hubs for Christmas, and I hope to have my first drinkable batch in the new year!
[breakfast] 1/2 grapefruit
[late morning snack 2] 2 Wasa crackers + Nuttzo almond butter
I have so many packages of Wasa crackers, I need to start really eating them! I brought a couple packages to work for snacks and meals on the go 🙂 Since I always have almond butter at my desk, this seemed like a suitable snack! #quickandeasy
[late lunch] 2 Wasa crackers + sweet & spicy tuna
I planned on going for a lunch run, but work just overcame my day… I ended up eating my “late morning snack” around noon…and then planned on running around 2pm (but that didn’t happen) and linch after my run… Oh well. My lunch happened around 3 or 4pm… #quickandeasy
[dinner] chicken + green beans + banana
This is the type of meal we have when the little man gets to pick out the dishes 🙂 I don’t typically have a banana with my dinner…but when Oak has anything to say about it, it is sure to happen!
[evening snack] vanilla ‘ice cream (bananas + almond milk + vanilla) + warmn sliced apples
Talk about a yummy night-cap! The little man and I enjoyed a little sweetness to end the evening! Warm apples, cold ‘ice cream…the best!!
I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment and start a conversation!
