This week was an interesting one… Random warm afternoons, cold cold mornings, and no holiday running! While running in the mornings while back home would have been easy, I just stayed around the house and spent time with family 🙂

Weekly Workouts
Monday- Unplanned rest day…yuck!
Tuesday- A chilly, snowy day for a trail run 🙂 Trails are good for the soul…
Wednesday- Procrastination as it’s finest – I cleaned my kitchen rather than go for a run. I decided that the afternoon would be a better time – 48 degrees, yes please!! Also, check out my awesome running safety BLING from Brilliant Reflective! (full review to come soon!)
Thursday- While yesterday afternoon was warm enough for shorts…I was wearing 2 pairs of pants this morning! Brrrr! My new Brilliant Reflective safety strips kept me seen and my new Knuckle Lights kept me seeing! I am testing both of these running gears as a ambassador for BibRave. Friday- The last day of the week…and we are heading home this weekend! A morning jaunt is just what I needed to start the weekend holiday adventures off right!!
Saturday- Christmas Eve – a perfect time to get in a few miles! Nope…I find get out early enough but then people started waking up and I just stuck around the house… That and since the air temp was below freezing and it was SUPER foggy, I knew the sidewalks would be an ice skating rink… I like my ankles in tact 🙂
Sunday- Merry Christmas!! A morning run, yes please!! But no…

I finally figured out my training plans for next year! My marathon training, for Garmin in April, doesn’t start until January 1st…but that won’t stop me from still racking up a few miles this week!
