While I have been in a more stability shoe for years, I am branching out and trying new shoes and new shoe brands. When I got the opportunity to try the new Adidas UltraBoost X as a BibRave Pro, I JUMPED at the chance!

A new week! My running buddy has some major taper miles this week…so we shall see how the miles go! My next pacing event is this coming weekend – so I will be cutting back just a little as well.
These next few weeks are going to fly by and Hospital Hill is going to be here before I know it! While this mini-training cycle is set for the HH weekend, my 50-mile training cycle has started as well! The miles are super low at this point, so I will jump right in the first full week of June 🙂

Low, slow miles for sure… This week, I have 2 interval workouts on the “schedule” – so we shall see how those go! Summer is here and the heat is going to add another element of stress to… Continue reading Hospital Hill w3 | Weekly Workouts
With all the miles I run, finding useful recovery tools is very important!
I am not great about sitting around and soaking my feet when I would rather be moving around…and foam rollers don’t always help get out the kinks in my feet.
A short while ago, I read online that OOFOS was going to come out with a new recovery shoe! As a BibRave Pro ambassador, I was able to be one of the first to check out this new closed shoe design – the OOmg!
This week is another week of trial and error. My goals are to keep my pace low so my HR also stays low. I have a pacing event this weekend that would usually be an easy, easy pace for me – but I am nervous that due to my low mileage the past couple weeks, I am not sure how the weekend event will go.
