Monday- no workout
Tuesday- 2.5 morning miles between rain storms – not every run is going to be a PR buster or an AWESOME run…sometimes, you just beat your alarm in enough time to get in a couple miles before heading to work…
Wednesday-2 mile run, 0.15 mile walk – a miserable run, but much needed! It is just too hot to run in the afternoon these days…the heat and humidity is gross!
Thursday-2.25 mile morning run – while I thought the morning was perfect for an early run (compared to the heat of the mid-day run), I need to remember that it is summertime and I NEED to take water with me for EVERY run. The humidity really got to me this morning…
This morning's run had a clear message for me – no matter how "good" the conditions seem, always take water. Yeah, I could have just gone home for a minute and headed back out, but my legs knew I was home and didn't want to work any more… Better luck tomorrow (and the rest of the summer!). #yearofnuun
Friday- n amazing morning run – I only wish I got out sooner for a longer jaunt…
Phone plant fail…but still a great shot of my morning run ❤️ I only wish I would have gotten out like an hour earlier…can't beat low 50s and post rain cool breeze! I decided to try and keep my heart rate in Sone 3 for as much as I could…75% is pretty good! The beats in my @myaftershokz made it interesting…nothing like a fast beat jam to bump up the HR! I felt like I could have run so much longer… 6 miles down, many to go! Love these days!! ❤️
Saturday- A wet morning run – met up with the runnoing group within a few miles of my house, but started raining about 30 mintues into the run…hid from the lightening for a bit, but headed out when we thought we were in the clear 🙂
An early start to the day! I used the first 3 miles to warm up and run to the meet up of the group run – about mile 2.5, the sky opened up and the rain I thought was going to pass us to the north was upon us! We took shelter from the rain under a landing for 10 minutes or so before we decided to head out – 5 miles running behind the group 😀 Then the same 3 miles home! 11 wet, sunny miles to start the weekend right! #ShokzSquad
Sunday- no workout

This Week’s Projected Workouts
Another week down! While I was ready to take a break from “training” and start building my base for this fall, I was approached to see if I would be willing to pace ONE MORE race this spring, and it is a BIG ONE. I will be pacing the Hospital Hill Half Marathon next weekend! I have been itching to register for this race but held back due to the possibility of being able to pace it…and now I am!
Hospital Hill Half Marathon – June 4th : co-pacing 2:50
