Weekly Workouts
Monday- no workout
Tuesday- 2.5 morning miles between rain storms – not every run is going to be a PR buster or an AWESOME run…sometimes, you just beat your alarm in enough time to get in a couple miles before heading to work…
Wednesday-2 mile run, 0.15 mile walk – a miserable run, but much needed! It is just too hot to run in the afternoon these days…the heat and humidity is gross!
Thursday-2.25 mile morning run – while I thought the morning was perfect for an early run (compared to the heat of the mid-day run), I need to remember that it is summertime and I NEED to take water with me for EVERY run. The humidity really got to me this morning…
Friday- n amazing morning run – I only wish I got out sooner for a longer jaunt…
Saturday- A wet morning run – met up with the runnoing group within a few miles of my house, but started raining about 30 mintues into the run…hid from the lightening for a bit, but headed out when we thought we were in the clear 🙂
Sunday- no workout
Weekly Miles : 24 miles

This Week’s Projected Workouts
Another week down! While I was ready to take a break from “training” and start building my base for this fall, I was approached to see if I would be willing to pace ONE MORE race this spring, and it is a BIG ONE. I will be pacing the Hospital Hill Half Marathon next weekend! I have been itching to register for this race but held back due to the possibility of being able to pace it…and now I am!
Hospital Hill Half Marathon – June 4th : co-pacing 2:50
Check out some awesome #linkups this week!
As always, there is the great Weekly Wrap link-up with Holly and Tricia! I found a new Monday linkup called #MotivateMe Monday, hosted by Lucie, Janice, and Rachel! Also, check out Ilka and Angela’s Sunday Fitness & Food link up!
Check out the Tuesday’s on the Run gang as well: Patty, Erika, & Marcia! I am also linking up with Angelina Marie, Annmarie, Nicole, and Michelle for Wild Workout Wednesday 🙂 Check out the new Coaches Corner linkup with Suz, Rachel, Debbie, and Lora.

Lindsey – your runs have been just like mine this week. I live in South Florida and the humidity has been through the roof for the last 2 weeks. You still got a total of 24 miles done for the week – that’s totally awesome! Have a great Running Week!

This hot weather is slowing me down and making runs miserable. I know we’ll all adapt, but it does take a while. Good job getting all those runs in.

Good job on your workouts. It’s always tough getting them in when there is inclimate weather.

You had quite the stormy runs this week. This is the first week I’ve had to stash a bottle of water in my mailbox since last year. The humidity is definitely here to stay for a while. How wonderful you get to pace another half marathon. I’d love to do that. Thanks for linking with us Lindsey!

I started taking a running belt with me on all of my runs…even if I don’t think I’ll need it, because I usually do 😆
