Another week full of miles! I decided to take the week a little easier and just run some easy paced miles. With the half marathon on Saturday, I didn’t want to take too much out of my system. Check out the Virtual Run Giveaway at the bottom of the post!!
Weekly Workouts
Monday- a morning run didn’t happen but I was able to get in a mile and 30 minutes Power Lunch at the gym! (10,061 steps)
Tuesday- Day 1 staying home with a sick kiddo…glad I was able to get in a morning run before the day started! (16,883 steps)
Wednesday- Day 2 with sick kiddo – morning run is a must! (18,321 steps)
Thursday- Day 3 with little man…yep! Morning run in the books to start the day! (19,100 steps)
Friday- no “official” workout today… Drove 500+ miles to Colorado to pace the Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon on Saturday. I was able to get a small walk at each of the rest stops… (5,899 steps)
Saturday- Georgetown to Idaho Springs Half Marathon!! (36,615 steps)
Sunday- no “official” workout today… Got up to watch the Olympics while I packed, drove 500+ miles to back home, and then spent the evening with little man and the hibs. I was able to get a small walk at each of the rest stops though… (4,997 steps)
Weekly Miles : 31 workout miles (111,876 weekly steps)
1083 / 2,016 miles in 2016

Very nice work. Virtual runs are pretty cool because they’re nice to do with my daughter. Lower pressure for a 4 year old.

That’s a lot of driving miles over the weekend. My body would be very stiff. I bet that half marathon course was scenic. I’ve done one half in CO and the altitude was brutal, starting at over 7000 but it’s been the most scenic to date. Thanks for linking, Lindsey!
