Last week of my “training cycle”!! I can’t believe it has already been 15 weeks…summer is coming to a close (finally…) and my first pacing race is this coming weekend! Here is my recap of last weeks workouts!

summer session w14 | Weekly Workouts
While the rain tried to slow me down, I was still able to make a big dent in my running miles left this year! I nearly doubled my miles for the week over the weekend…love those early morning long runs and trail runs 🙂
Well…the heat came back this week… The mornings were in the 70-80s with high humidity…so I pushed workouts to my lunch breaks and evenings. I sure do not miss this heat…BRING THE FALL COOL!! Oh well…Mother Nature has a mind of her own (…esp in Kansas)! Ha!
While starting to cool off a little, this week has some great weather for running! (at least in the morning) Again, I am not great with sticking to my plan (see below), but I am still good about getting some miles and cross training in!
Another week, more running, more stretching, and a little volunteering! Some weeks just feel good…overall! While my mornings started a little slow, the miles ticked away 🙂
While this is another What I Ate post, it is more a “Day In The Life” post 🙂
