Another week, more running, more stretching, and a little volunteering! Some weeks just feel good…overall! While my mornings started a little slow, the miles ticked away 🙂
Weekly Workouts
Monday morning- morning run with Angie 🙂 Good deed for the day, check! There was a girl wandering around on our route, the first time she asked us a question we couldn’t really answer,…and I let her borrow my phone the second time we saw her to get a ride home… Not sure what was going on, but I hope she made it back to where she came from!! (5.2 miles) (20,246 steps)
Monday lunch- 0.5 mile run to the gym + Power Lunch + 0.5 mile run/walk back to work
Tuesday- humid morning run (2 solo miles + 6 buddy miles) + a lunch walk to the mall and back (2 miles) (27,175 steps)
Wednesday morning- It was a warm morning for a run 🙂 (6.05 miles) (18,315 steps)
Wednesday lunch- Power Lunch!!
Thursday- no workout – complete rest day (6,549 steps)
Friday morning- A double workout morning! I got to the gym early enough (but not as early as I wanted) to get in a 5K on the treadmill before my yoga class – LOVE Friday morning yoga!! (3.1 miles) (19,979 steps)
Friday afternoon- Since the weather is constantly changing, mostly towards the rain/thunder/lightening, I decided to get in a few miles over lunch (4.25 miles)
Saturday- Today, little man and I volunteered for the Speedy PD 5K/10K race in town. We were stationed at the 10K turnaround…so we walked to our spot. Then after our last runners passed through, we walked back to the start/finish area…then we walked around the campgrounds to the park, played a while, then walked all the way back to my car… No running miles today, but roughly 5 miles of walking, pushing a stroller! (5 miles) (14,531 steps)
Sunday- Finally getting in my long run for the week! I started out just a little later than I wanted, but got it done! (14 miles) (29,537 steps)
Weekly Miles : 48.75 workout miles ( 136,332 weekly steps)
1168 / 2,016 miles in 2016

Great mileage and workouts this week! I had a week of cutback mileage last week and a peak week currently. My marathon is only 3.5 weeks away 😁

Cut backs can be hard mentally…I always want to run more during the taper!

Nice week! I got in one more run today before the storm came. Hopefully it’ll pass before race day on Sunday.

Wow! That was a very impressive week of miles and working out! I bet Tuttle Creek State Park is a beautiful place for a race. It’s great that you volunteered and took along a helper too! Thanks for linking, Lindsey.
