It’s the last week of summer “training”! Whoo!!
Weekly Workouts
Monday- First FALL morning run in the books! I started with my scheduled interval run and finished it with a nice 5 miles with my running buddy 🙂 It is supposed to get warm again next week…but I will enjoy the chill while I can! (23,186 steps)
Tuesday- I hope this cool weather is here to stay for a while! While “cross training” is on the agenda, I would rather go for a run! A nice, brisk 7 hilly miles this morning! (21,525 steps)
Wednesday- no workout… Just a nice evening walk with little man (8,173 steps)
Thursday- a nice brisk, early morning run (19,916 steps)
Friday- While I would have loved to get out and run in the morning, I didn’t want to risk not getting back in time for the in-laws to get to work on time – so I slept in, for me…7am wake up call from little man! Rather, I went for an afternoon jaunt at race pace for Sunday’s event (14,147 steps)
Saturday- running on the treadmill at the Brooks tent at the ExMO doesn’t really count…but walking around the ExMO all day should 🙂 (5,844 steps)
Sunday- MO Cowbell Half Marathon – pacing 2:35 – recap coming in the near future 🙂 (33,6656 steps)
Weekly Miles : 38.5 workout miles (126K weekly steps; 18K daily steps)
1364 / 2,016 miles in 2016
Next Week’s Projected Workouts
Well…now is the fun and interesting time of “training”…the IN BETWEEN weeks.
This coming week, I am not sure how much running I will be able to fit in. The hubs will be out of town for like 5 days – so no morning runs. I will have to use my runch breaks wisely 🙂
We’ll see how this week pans out…but I need to keep up with my miles to try and finish 2,016 miles by the end of the year!
Check out some awesome #linkups this week!
As always, there is the great Weekly Wrap link-up with Holly and Tricia! I found a new Monday linkup called #MotivateMe Monday, hosted by Lucie, Janice, and Rachel! Also, check out Ilka and Angela’s Sunday Fitness & Food link up!
Check out the Tuesday’s on the Run gang as well: Patty, Erika, & Marcia! I am also linking up with Annmarie, Jen, Nicole, and Michelle for Wild Workout Wednesday 🙂 Check out the new Coaches Corner linkup with Suz, Rachel, Debbie, and Lora.
How did your training week go? What are you training for?
I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment and start a conversation!

I also enjoyed some cooler mornings this week. What a difference it makes! I agree that a 7 am wake up is definitely sleeping in! It’s always appreciated too. Great job with pacing for the half marathon! Thanks for linking, Lindsey!
