This week’s link up is “Gift List”. These are all items that are on MY running wish list (and you could add to yours!) 🙂 You can check out last years list HERE 🙂
#1 : Race Registrations
WOW! You know you are ready to run when you ask for race registrations!
Honestly…the races that I would like to run are getting expensive…like $95-150 expensive! And the later I wait to register, the higher they go! A few of the ultra races I have in mind are :
Psycho Wyco Run Toto Run (10M, 20M or 50K) – February 25th in Kansas City, KS
- Flint Hills 50 & Marathon (Marathon or 50M)- April 15th in Manhattan, KS
- Heartland 50 (50M or 50K) – April 29th in Cassody, KS
- Hawk Hundred (100M, 50M or Marathon) – September 9th (my birthday weekend!!) in Lawrence, KS
Because I am wanting to get into running more long distance races (for the fun and pain…), I need to think about my plans earlier so I can make the registrations as cheap as possible! And then I can start the training planning… 🙂
Run Fast Eat Slow By S
I have read so many great reviews of this book. I am good about fueling,…when I am really trying at least! I hope to someday have my fueling down and don’t have so many temptations…this would really help me fuel better and make it more of a routine!
A New coffee Mug…duh!!
I have seen this Sarah Marie Design Studio mug a few times now…and it just speaks to me!!
…GTS 15-16-17, 2EE width, size 10 (women’s) or 9.5 (men’s) – any colors 🙂 I could always use new shoes! With the amount of running I need to keep sane, new shoes are always on my
wish need list 🙂
New Oiselle Running Gear
Bottoms : I have been a big fan of the Long Flyte and Stride shorts for a while now..and I could always use a little more Oiselle in my life 🙂 Those are great in the warm months…but this winter I have been eyeing the Juno Tight and Wazzie Wool Legging 🙂
Stride Box gift subscription
As a StrideBox member, each month you’ll receive a box of 5-7 performance products; ranging from performance apparel, to nutrition products, and other accessories for runners and other endurance athletes.
OR – a more personal option would be to go by your local running store and create your own DIY box of running goodies with gels, gift cards, head band, hats, socks, protein, snacks, and gum!
I am always needing new compression gear. I really love the compression socks from Tiux! The bottom of the sock is thicker and feels better in my shoe than traditional compression socks 🙂 Plus, I love the bold colors!
I could always use more Nuun 🙂 ALWAYS.
What could any runner love more that gift certificates?! Manicures, pedicures, massages, running clothes, running shoes, food shops, race registrations, compression socks – the options are unlimited!!
Honestly, the Turtle Mittens was one of the items that I WANTED to include in this git guide… A pacing friend of mine had them at the last pacing race weekend and they look great!! I am always needing to take on and off my gloves and I can never seem to find gloves that keep my hands all that warm. Mittens are the simple answer, and these gloves take the simple mitten to a new level!
What is on your holiday gift list? Did I mention anything that you forgot to put on your list?
I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment and start a conversation!
