Monday- no workout – unplanned “rest” day… I don’t mind “planned rest” days (even though I don’t always “rest”…) but the unplanned ones really do stink!!
Tuesday- It truly feels like forever since I was able to run…even though it has only been a couple days. Funny how that works… I have been swamped at work…and it has made me a little more lazy at home as well. Well, not today! I was able to get away from work for a little while and go for a brisk run on my favorite trail 🙂
Wednesday- Another busy day…another trail run in the books!! I love running the Linear Trail during the day! I just wish I had a longer lunch hour so I could run longer 🙂
Thursday- Some days, you just need to get away! The chill is not going away this week…and we are going to have some SUPER cold days to come (hello Saturday’s low of -2, feels like -15 and below)… Need some outside miles while I can get them!
Friday- It feels like FOREVER since I have got out for any morning miles…when it has only been since last Saturday. Broke the pattern today (and hopefully tomorrow as well!!)!!
Saturday- Even with the horrible weather, I was able to get most of my planned run!
Layers on layers on layers… The high for today was…yesterday 😳😳 No high temps today!! • 3 head wraps (2 over my face), 2 hats (1 stocking, 1 cap), 2 LS shirts, 2 jackets, 2 gloves (1 mittens), shorts, 2 pants, 2 socks (1 tall compression), shoes, yak tracks – DONE!! • It sure took a while to get ready this morning…I wasn't about to cop out on the distance this morning! I originally planned 12…late start and no group run left me with 9 on my route…so at 5 miles, I turned around and came back – 10 slick, cold, windy miles to start the weekend!! (Probably my ONLY run for the weekend 😓) • Were you able to get out for a run? Bundle up! Sunday- no workout- the -20 degree wind chill to start the day didn’t make me want to hit the road… Weekend days don’t get a run unless it is early morning…oh well!
