With just under 6 weeks until the Hospital Hill Run, let’s chat about it! I have already been “training” for this event for the past several weeks…so time is now going to fly!

Hospital Hill Run

This year will be a little different for me in a couple ways :

  1. The ReRun (Friday night 5K, Saturday morning 10K or half marathon) will not be running this year — bummer, but if you experienced the crazy Friday night heat any of the last 6+ years, it makes sense!
    • Last year, the 5K was cancelled for Friday and moved to Saturday morning (minus ReRunners, we were just out of luck) due to the “ozone alert”… AKA very poor air quality and high heat
  2. I will be 32+ weeks pregnant

Due to these points, I decided to sign up for the Hospital Hill 10K for 2019 and have the opportunity to run as a BibRave Pro. This will be my 6th year running the HHR events and my 3rd year decked out in BibRave orange.

While I am choosing to run/walk the 10K, you can choose between the Hospital Hill 5K, 10K or half marathon for the Saturday, June 1st events.

Use to code BIBRAVE19 for 15% off your registration fee and register before the 4/30 price increase to get the cheapest price in town!

You will quickly learn that Kansas City (Missouri) is not flat and full of amazing hills! You can check out a few of those in the course profile from my previous year’s race recaps — 2018 2017 2016

Do you have a race that you come back to year after year?

I’d love to hear from you! Leave a comment and start a conversation!
