I am getting better about finding morning motivation…but a mid-week blood donation and weekend thunderstorms threw off the second half of my week. Oh well…I will probably combine this week’s miles and next week’s miles and divide by 2 to get an accurate weekly check…this week will be “small” and next week will have A LOT more. Not due to over training, but because I moved my long run to Monday when the weather allowed for it… Here we go!

Weekly Workouts
Monday- A nice, sweaty, humid…morning jaunt 🙂 – 3 miles “easy” pace
Tuesday- A wet start sent me to the mat for a little morning foam rolling. The afternoon wasn’t as hot as it has been lately, so I went for a runch run! – 5 miles “easy” pace
Wednesday- Again with the lazy morning wake up call…but I was still able to get all of my steady run in before heading to work!
Thursday- As a “rest day” should be…I actually tested today! Little man and I finished the day with a mile around the neighborhood. We counted trees and rabbits : )
Friday- A slow start didnt hold me back from getting in some morning miles…but other things did… I completly forgot that I donated blood just the other day, and NOW that I thought of that, it makes sense my morning run was so bad… What else can I do? Go for an easy runch run!
Saturday- Due to the weather, I wasn’t able to get in a run this morning…and then the persistent rain kept us inside most of the day…
Sunday- I was able to get in a few easy miles in the cool, post rain, morning 🙂
Weekly Miles : 30 miles

I wear the Forerunner 235 – mostly for the HR in the wrist. I am still finding functions I haven’t used yet 😆

Great training week. Donating blood really does have an affect on your run even the next day. No worries, you did a beautiful thing!

Nice week of training! I can’t remember the last time I had a high mileage week…I have been working on speed work and shorter distance races this summer!

Sounds like a great plan! I could use some speed work in my routine 😀

You had a great week in that awful summertime humidity! My easy pace has definitely changed in the last few weeks. I’m afraid it will stick around for a couple more months. I miss the blood drives my old company used to have. They gave out the coolest T-shirts way back when! Thanks for linking Lindsey!

Running in the morning humidity is “easier” than running in the heat of the day…my easy pace is slower than usual, but it happens. I just hope it gets faster this fall 😆
