While starting to cool off a little, this week has some great weather for running! (at least in the morning) Again, I am not great with sticking to my plan (see below), but I am still good about getting some miles and cross training in!
Weekly Workouts
Monday- a morning run is the greatest way to start the week (6.25 miles) + a run to and from Power Lunch over my lunch hour (22,228 steps)
Tuesday- morning runs are always a great start… (5.5 miles) (19,875 steps)
Wednesday- I dilly-dallied around in the morning…so I was ready for a butt kicking over lunch…and Power Lunch didn’t disappoint! (10,980 steps)
Thursday- yes, finally some cool weather miles!! (17,182 steps)
Friday- I started the day with a trip to the gym since it was raining…a couple miles on the treadmill and morning yoga. Since I still wanted to get in my interval workout this week and I was sent home early, I decided to take a run around the park 🙂 (19,540 steps)
Saturday- a nice warm up run to the 6-mile group run, then home! On my way home, there was a tremor…an earthquake in Oklahoma sent tremors our way… (15 miles) (31,702 steps)
Sunday– While my plans to run at the Konza due to the incoming thunderstorms, I was able to fit in a few miles at a local park before heading home (14,060 steps)
Weekly Miles : 46.1 workout miles (135.5K weekly steps; 19K daily steps)
1209.75 / 2,016 miles in 2016 (…getting closer!!)

Look at you go! You are so close to your miles for the year! I tried to split it as a team last year and couldn’t even rack up half 😛

I am a little behind…but slowly catching up. Miles will be WAY easier once the weather cools off!

Great week! And did you actually feel the tremors while you were running?! How crazy.

Lol! Funny story…I actually stopped at a gas station to use the bathroom. I was sitting on the pot when it started shaking. I thought it was in my head…like I was going to pass out or something! It was really odd… When I walked out, the employees were going nuts about it 😆

I agree. The best miles are morning miles. But, I’m totally jealous you got to pull out the long sleeves! It will be a LONG time before that happens here. My sister lives in OK and experienced that earthquake first hand. It shook her up pretty good (pun intended). You had a great week of training! Thanks for linking, Lindsey!

I couldn’t believe we could feel it here! There have been a couple that we could feel the tremors…but that was the first one I really felt 😁
