lighter than air | Aftershokz Trekz Air (review + discount)

I have known about and worn AfterShokz headphones for the past few years – starting with bike safety and then for most of my running adventures. I even gifted the hubs a pair for Christmas this past year so he wouldn’t get another piece of my hand-me-down gear!

I have had my eye on one of their newest products and I am finally getting a chance to test them out. Check it out!

flipping out for my FlipBelt Crops | Review

With the option of trying and testing out the FlipBelt Crops pant as a BibRave Pro, I jumped at the chance! With the belt built into the waistband, I am very optimistic that I won’t have issues with the belt riding up too much.

Since it is Friday, I thought I would present the FlipBelt Crops as a Friday Five 🙂 I have been trying these pants for the past couple of weeks through my running (a 20-miler last weekend), yoga at the gym, and many living room cardio workouts. Check it out!

GODSPEED | The Race Across America (the journey of a lifetime)

Overcoming obstacles is something we all face…but not to the degree that Jerry Schemmel and Brad Cooper faced when they tested their physical, mental, and spiritual strength in The Race Across America in 2015. “GODSPEED” is a thrilling documentary hitting theaters across the United States on May 22nd. I urge you to check out your local listings and reserve your tickets today! While I am a runner, this documentary spans more than just the cycling world – every endurance athlete overcomes adversity – and these inspiring men can give you the motivation you need to keep moving!

OZ Marathon w4 | training for 100M

This past week went relatively seamlessly… With the hubs in surgery on Tuesday and part of the weekend away from home, I was able to get in most of my runs without much issue!

This training cycle is filling the time between the 50K 20M (review hopefully up this week!) and the big 100M training cycle starting in late April – my next race is the Garmin Marathon (OZ Marathon) and I will be pacing the 5:30 finishers!
