With the weather taking us for another chilly ride early this past week, I am hoping to get outside for some lunch run miles later in the week (hello 40 degrees!!)! I have some running events in my future and the treadmill isn’t going to suffice… I have some running plans for this spring and… Continue reading spring training | week 6
While it is easy to just start 2019 without looking back, I prefer to look back…just a little 🙂 Last year was truly a whirlwind of running and being busy…so here is my highlight reel! Plus some changes you may see in 2019… #bibchat
Miles on miles! This ended up being the longest miles I have run since September – which is amazing! The Scoobtober 5K and a weekend of pacing duties kept me moving for sure! #bibchat #scoobydoobr

five plans for @RunRocknRoll Chicago
This week is just feels a bit off…
After the [all] night run, I have been “catching up” on sleep and making a full night of sleep a bigger priority than getting out for morning runs. I am not too heart broken about the down week, they come sometimes – planned or not!
I am gearing up to travel and run the Rock ‘n’ Roll Chicago in a couple weeks and the quickly approaching Hawk 100m event in September!
Let’s get on with it!
I am playing with my miles a lot this week. Since I built in a night 50K into this training block, the miles are a little funky this week leading up to the weekend. I plan a couple trail days this week (check out below if it works out or not) and the long, night training run this weekend! While my miles are messed around from day to day, the miles for the week equal the same ♥
The Hospital Hill Run is a weekend of races that is near to my heart! I have enjoyed this event for 5 years now and don’t plan on stopping any time soon! The fun swag, the beautiful and fun medals, the challenging course, the free digital photos, the post-race fun — all of it together makes this a go-to event from year to year.
Check it out!
The Health and Fitness Expo for the Hospital Hill races is always a great event! So many vendors come from near and far to give you a peek into their company.
While it was a bummer that the 5K was postponed, I wasn’t too too upset that I didn’t get to sweat my life away on the streets of KC.
