hawk fifty mile training | w16 – the final countdown!!
Bring on the taper!! This week is looking like some cooler temps and less miles – and while I would usually want longer miles in the cooler temps, I am working on some major self control and sticking to the training plan!!
Last BIG week of this training cycle!! While it didn’t go totally as scheduled or planned, I made the most of it! Only two more weekends before the big race…one of which will be on vacation…oh boy!
This week for Tuesday’s on the Run with Erika, Marcia, and Patty, I am going over my first experience with the Clinton Lake Hawk course loop! For my first 50 miler (next month), I will be running 2 loops of the course that I ran last weekend…so let’s dive in! #Team2Loops
Without weekend prepping, my meal feel like a hustle and struggle in the morning! Easy, healthy microwave meals make lunch easy…but my snacks and other meals are a little more interesting. At least I ran today 😂😂
