This week started with a reality check — which then fed into a decent week of walking and running miles! I have some running plans for this spring and then in the fall…but we’ll see what all gets accomplished.

With the weather taking us for another chilly ride early this past week, I am hoping to get outside for some lunch run miles later in the week (hello 40 degrees!!)! Why is it that the week of an event is the best week to get in some miles – when I KNOW I should be taking it easy and conserving my energy??

This is the last full week of training before the Kansas City Marathon next weekend! The weather has been crazy, summer to winter temps, and rain to boot! It’s too bad that the weather is supposed to warm up on race week…so at least I got in some heat training this week! #bibchat
@kcmarathon mini training week 3 | Well, another week is gone! Fall is coming…maybe…just when I think that the chill is sticking around, I am fooled again! The hubs and I headed out to CO for a beercation on Thursday, so I was lucky that I was able to get ANY miles in while we were away!
